Donald E. Nease, Jr., M.D.
Dr. Nease is a Family Physician researcher in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan. He has worked with Drs. Green & Klinkman in the development of ClinfoTracker, now Cielo Clinic, and has been funded for research using ClinfoTracker by the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute and the University of Michigan. Dr. Nease has had a long standing interest in the use of information technology in primary care beginning with his residency in Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina. Currently Dr. Nease is pursuing work exploring how primary care practices can adaptively use systems like Cielo Clinic to deliver high quality care in a constantly changing practice and reimbursement environment.

Lee A. Green, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Green is a Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan. Dr. Green is a family physician with 20+ years of practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan, providing the full range of family practice including obstetrics and minor outpatient surgery. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, where he is now a professor, and received his MPH from the UM School of Public Health. His research work is in medical decision making and quality improvement in primary care. That has led him to be involved in many national practice guidelines on behalf of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and to a strong interest in clinical reminder systems as a way for busy primary care physicians to implement guidelines and deliver the best care on a consistent basis. He has used the ClinfoTracker clinical reminder system, from which Cielo Clinic was developed, for more than five years in his own practice with excellent results.

Dr. Michael S. Klinkman, M.D., M.S.
Dr. Klinkman is a practicing family physician, and an Associate Professor of Family Medicine and Psychiatry and the Director of Primary Care Programs for the University of Michigan Depression Center. Dr. Klinkman has over 18 years of experience in developing and implementing primary care clinical information systems and conducting practice-based research. Within the University of Michigan Department of Family Medicine, he has led the development of ClinfoTracker, the predecessor to Cielo Clinic, to support quality improvement and research activities in busy primary care practices.
